The present work has been prepared with the object of
providing the student and practitioner with a succinct account of our existing
knowledge of mental diseases. The book is divided into three sections. Part 1.
Normal Psychology: an attempt is made to correlate mental processes with their
physical substrata in the nervous system. Part 2.The Psychology of the insane is
treated in this section. Part 3.Mental Diseases: The classification of mental
diseases is explained in this section.
