Hydraulic Structures are engineering constructions designed and
mechanically fit for managing and utilizing water resources to the best
advantage of the human being and environment. This course provides a broad
understanding of the basic principles of hydraulic structures. The emphasis is
on design and analysis of different types of dams and spillways.
